RM Launch
Roland Mouret is back - he was previously stuck in a legal battle over the use of his own-name brand Roland Mouret with his ex-business partner. His new line is called RM and was presented at Paris couture week. The line can be known as RM by the designer Roland Mouret but not RM by Roland Mouret. Prosaic but necessary for legal reasons.
According to style.com, every piece from the RM line can be reserved on Net-a-Porter. Everyone, get clicking now. And many many thanks to The Business Of Fashion for letting everyone know pre-ordering on Net-a-Porter starts as of 5:30pm London time today.

The Story Of Coco
The World of Coco Chanel traces the life of the grande dame behind the eponymous design house Chanel. Written by Chanel's close friend and biographer, Edmonde Charles-Roux, the book's illustrations are drawn from Charles-Roux's archive. The result is an intimate portrayal.
Just bought from Claire de Rouen today, fresh out its wrapper, I can't wait to read the book cover to cover.

Carsten Höller Slides

Remember Carsten Höller at the Tate Modern's Turbine Hall? How brilliantly did his slides installation fill the hall's cavernous space. All who visited had such a fantastic time.
Apparently Miuccia Prada commissioned Höller to create a similar slide from her office into her courtyard. I'd love one for my office too!
